What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language or whether you are logged in.
Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (retained for a set period or until you delete them).
Cookies we use
precision_liquidity_lang — Persistent, 1 year. Stores your language preference (English or German) so that the site displays in your preferred language on return visits. This cookie does not track you across sites and contains no personal data beyond the language code.
precision_liquidity_consent — Persistent, 1 year. Records that you have acknowledged our cookie consent banner. This allows us to avoid showing the banner on every page load. It contains no personal data.
sessionid — Session. Django's standard session cookie, used to keep you logged in during a browsing session. This cookie is essential for the authenticated member area to function.
csrftoken — Persistent, 1 year. Django's Cross-Site Request Forgery protection token. This is a security cookie required to protect forms from malicious third-party requests. It is essential and cannot be disabled.
Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) or advertising/tracking cookies of any kind.
We do not share cookie data with third-party advertisers.
Third-party cookies
The SnapTrade connection portal, which is loaded in a separate browser window when you authorise your IBKR account, may set its own cookies. Those cookies are subject to SnapTrade's own cookie policy.
We do not embed third-party scripts, social media widgets, or other tracking technologies on our main platform pages.
Managing your cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies from specific sites. If you block the session or CSRF cookie, the authenticated member area will not function correctly.
To opt out of language preference storage, you can delete the precision_liquidity_lang cookie in your browser. The site will revert to the default language (English) on your next visit.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers are available at: aboutcookies.org, or in your browser's Help documentation.
